Frequently Asked Questions
What to expect when you visit Hiddencroft Vineyards…
We want your visit to feel easy, enjoyable, and just what you were hoping for. A few things about how we operate will help you plan your time with us—and help us give you the best experience possible.
🍇 Do you grow your own grapes?
Yes—we’re proud of this.
All of the grapes used in our wines are grown right here in Loudoun County, Virginia, and nearly all of them are estate-grown at Hiddencroft. When you’re tasting our wines, you’re tasting this land.
🐕 Are dogs allowed?
They are welcome outdoors!
We simply ask that dogs remain leashed, well-controlled, and cleaned up after. Service dogs are welcome inside the tasting room.
👨👩👧 Are children allowed?
Yes—families are welcome.
We do ask that children remain supervised at all times, both indoors and outdoors, for safety and comfort of all guests.
Please note: guests must be 21 or older to participate at our tasting counters.
🕕 How late can we stay?
We begin winding down service at 5:30 PM.
- Last tastings and wine for on-site enjoyment: 5:30 PM
- Bottle sales for off-site: until 6:00 PM
- Property closes promptly at 6:00 PM
We’ve found this helps us keep the experience relaxed and consistent for everyone.

Yes—simple, enjoyable pairings.
We offer a selection of self-service light fare including cheeses, salami, crackers, and spreads. We also provide cutting boards and utensils.
Non-alcoholic beverages like soda and water are available as well.

Yes, you may—when enjoying our wine.
Many guests like to bring a picnic to pair with their tasting or bottle.

We keep things simple on-site, but we’re glad to recommend excellent nearby restaurants for before or after your visit.

This helps us prepare and make sure your group has a good experience.
