Do you grow your own grapes? 100% of the grapes used for our White, Red and Rosé wines are grown in Loudoun County, Virginia. 97% of those grapes are estate grown here at Hiddencroft Vineyards. The remaining 3% come from a Loudoun County vineyard within 5 miles of our property.

Are dogs allowed? Dogs are welcome outdoors, on a leash and under the control of an owner during their entire visit. Service dogs are allowed in our tasting room. Please clean up after your dog.

Are children allowed? Children are welcome. From a safety standpoint, we request they remain under the control of a parent or guardian during their entire visit. We request children not roam our indoor and outdoor spaces without the supervision of a parent or guardian. We do not provide specific child-tailored activities. You must be at least 21 years of age to stand at our tasting counters.

Can we continue our visit to your property after you have closed for the day? We serve our last tastings and wine for on-site consumption at 5:30PM. We sell bottles for off-site consumption until 6PM. We close the property to the public promptly at 6PM.

Is food available? We have an assortment of self-service, lite fare available for purchase in our tasting room: cheeses, stick and pre-cut salami, and assorted crackers. We have cutting boards and knives for your use. We also sell canned soda and bottled water.

Can we bring our own food? Customers of our tasting room who purchase our wine may bring their own food.

Is there a restaurant on-site? We do not have a restaurant, but we do sell the self-service, lite-fare described above. We can recommend some great restaurants that are near our Tasting House or on the way to your next destination.

Are group reservations required? Advance reservations are required for 9 or more people. Group size includes all members, even those under the age of 21. Please call 540-535-5367 to check the date/time availability and make the reservation.

Are limousines and buses allowed? The largest group size we can currently accommodate is 12 people. This includes any group members who are under the age of 21. Group visits of 9-12 people require a reservation. Please call 540-535-5367 to check availability and make a reservation. Limousines and buses that arrive without a reservation will be turned away, without negotiation.

What forms of payment do you accept? Cash, Credit Cards (American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa) and in-State Checks.

Can we bring our own alcoholic beverages? No. Per VA Alcoholic Beverage Control regulations, we are not allowed to have alcoholic beverages other than those which we are licensed to sell on our premises. Accordingly, we reserve the right to check coolers, bags and baskets. If we find other alcoholic beverages on our property, we will ask everyone in your party to leave our property immediately, without negotiation.

Is Hiddencroft available for weddings: We do not host weddings, rehearsal dinners, or other private parties at this time.

Do you sell fruit wines? Yes. We regularly produce and sell Cherry and Blueberry wines. Supplies change, so call or e-mail in advance for availability or check our current wine list.

Can I purchase your wine on-line and have it shipped to my home or other locations? Yes, we ship to 35 states, including Virginia. Click here to shop. A person, over the age of 21, must be on hand to sign for your wine the day it is delivered.

Are your wines sold in any local wine shops or grocery stores? A present, they are not.

Is your Tasting House open year-round? Yes, our Tasting House is open year-round on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays from 11AM-6PM. Our Tasting House is closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays. Our Tasting House is closed on the following Holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day, and Easter Sunday.

Is there a place to sit and enjoy a tasting or bottle of your wine? We have indoor seating for approximately 22 people on the second floor of our tasting house. Outdoors, our deck seats about 30; we have a large patio with a fire-pit which seats an additional 50 people; there are a few picnic tables in grassy areas. You can view our site seating here… We recommend you always consider the daily weather forecast before you visit.

Do you have live music? We do not currently schedule live music performances.

Is parking available? Yes, in our private lot next to our barn. It is a 250′ walk from the parking lot to our Tasting House. We have a handicap parking drop off and pickup area clearly marked by a sign as you enter our property.
